DIGITAL DANCE TRACES #1 – Ritualistc Action Paintings by Sandro Masai in collaboration with ImprovAIze – Augmented Performance Lab (Elizabeth Jochum and Dan Overholt) and RELATE – Research Lab for Art and Technology from Aalborg University.

This project is part of a series of artistic research on how to capture and display spirituality and movement through action paintings. The ritualistic performances and paintings are dedicated to the Orishas – the gods in the Yoruban mythology. The colors, music and choreographies are inspired from the Yoruban traditions.

Performed at Dansekraft – Nordjyllands Internationale Dansefestival curated by Kunsthal NORD under the themes: Movement, Drawing and Spirituality.
