DANCE TRACES #2 – Ritualistic Digital Action Paintings by Sandro Masai in collaboration with ImprovAIze – Augmented Performance Lab (Silke Beckman, Pelin Kiliboz, Elizabeth Jochum and Dan Overholt) and RELATE – Research Lab for Art and Technology from Aalborg University.

This project is part of a series of art-based researches on how to capture and express spirituality and movement through action paintings. The ritualistic performances and paintings are dedicated to the Orishas – the gods in the Yoruban mythology. The colors, music and choreographies are inspired from the Yoruban traditions.
